Day 2

Another fresh start to the day!

Made my mystery tea this morning. I call it a mystery because awhile back I decided to combine all my tea bags (insert joke here) and put them all into a container. Ranges from different flavours of GREEN TEA - peppermint, super berry, blueberry .. etc. While my tea was steeping I focused on abdomen this morning - quick 225 total crunches.

Prior to the minor abdomen session I weighed myself. Gross. I haven't taken my weight in so long. This morning I'm at 188.6 lb.
Let's let that sink in.

I may not look like that weight (or maybe I do) but I know I don't FEEL like that weight. It doesn't matter what I feel like, it is what it is. I can only go down from here. The next 30 days will consist of:
- no junk
- no alcohol/beer/wine
- no eating past 8 and enjoying a ton of flavoured teas.

This is now the diary of a sober alcoholic. I'm not one to drink everyday but I tend to drink on the weekends and sometimes go overboard. Hence, the constant posts of what day it is. I don't want to psych myself out though or get stressed / overwhelmed - just taking each day as it is.

Another Tuesday has come and gone and today my co-worker wasn't in. Lucky her being on vacation! Today has been jammed!
Nutrition (and tons of water)*
Meal 1: small handful of mixed unsalted nuts, cup of blackberries
Meal 2: baby kale salad with ranch dressing and parmesan croutons
Meal 3: (if you even call it a meal) - pre workout and few bites of protein bar
Meal 4: leftovers from last night - chicken, peaches, veggies and basmati + a salad (tender reds, spinach, crumbled vegetable crackers, less than 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese and ranch dressing)

Exercise/workout:
Upper body using the machines - LAT Pull down, deltoid fly, seated row at 5 sets of 10
Wish me luck and stay tuned..

UPDATE
All the upper body machines were TAKEN. Oh my goodness - why does this always happen to me? Every woman in that section was using a machine I required for today except the lateral raise. So I started off with that - 3 sets of 10 at 25 lbs.
Then I wanted to move to ANY upper body machine but the ladies were taking forever and no one was using the leg machines (with the exception of abduct/adduct) so here was my workout:
3 sets of 10
Leg extension 55 lb
Seated leg curl 55 lb

4 sets of 8
Horizontal calf 130 lb
and again - 150 lb
+ 20 minutes of cardio - stationary bike

Updates and Basil, Cilantro, Garlic Bread

I realize I haven't blogged in quite some time. Here's some updates since my last blog: - I moved - It wasn't my choice but it had to be done. The lady that owned our condo wanted us to buy it or leave. So we left (there were way too many things to be fixed and wasn't worth our time, energy and money). Now I live in the basement of my mother in law's home with my boyfriend, Jack. - I no longer consume animals or animal by products. I'm 90% vegan and I say 90 % because I cannot consume vegan cheese. Has anyone ever tried it? IT'S LEGIT THE SCUM OF THE EARTH. I eat cheddar cheese (only) once, twice or three times a month. So let's get down to business, to the reason why I made you come to this entry on my blog. The main way I cook in this basement is with my slow cooker. I came across a recipe on Pinterest for Vegan basil pesto bread which obviously sounds delicious. *Word to the non - vegans, pesto contains parmesan. There was a recipe to make vegan

I really hope I can hold onto this

Monday, July 31st, 2017 is my time to SHINE! I'm committing myself to a major change and I think I'm ready for it. Social calendar is cancelled which means less expenses and no drinking. Time to take a big breath and continue on... I'll be starting Focus T25 (I love my Shaun T workouts). 5:45 am every morning (hopefully) I'll be rolling out of bed - yes I'm gross - I'm going to sleep in my workout gear - grab my water and tie up my runners and popping that DVD in. I re-reviewed the Nutrition Guide and I absolutely love when shit is written out for me and I don't have to think twice about a recipe or what I'm going to eat. There are a number of options which is AWESOME so I can pick what I want, and sadly (for Jack) prep for breakfast, snacks, lunch and dinner. Ultimately I want to work out in the morning and do minor cardio after work. But who's to say this will all happen - I'm just baby steppin' so far. My #1 GOAL is to STICK with

Boxing!!

Do you ever get so ticked off you just want to punch something? Me too. All the damn time. Sometimes I'll even punch the wall.. no, not smart at all but it happens. A friend has been going to Boxing lessons for about a month now (I think) and I always wanted to join but I'm extremely terrified - I'm mostly afraid my form will be incorrect and it will be a one on one experience. Other than that, I'm absolutely pumped! I really hope I enjoy myself because I hear boxing is an INSANE WORKOUT. There's been a Groupon for this place since forever, I always saw it being recommended to me on my account and I figure - about time. I better get my ass in gear! If I learn the proper form and enjoy it, I'm 100 % sure I'm going to get a dummy or a punching bag and start punching when I'm angry. I already checked out prices - expensive - of course for the good quality and cheap for crappy bags that will break in no time. I hope it's all upper body though and n
