Today's thoughts.

Thought number one -  Parking spots with a timer of 30 minutes. Who the fck exercises for 30 minutes and then leaves? The gym is on the second floor so it will take time to get to the gym, change (if you don't arrive in your gym clothes), lock your shit up, find a machine that isn't taken, do your stuff, change, grab your stuff and then run down those stairs. There's like no time. Those spots are for people that arrive in their clothes, and only bring water and a phone and are probably already fit so they don't need to do a killer workout. Stereotypical parking spots - that's what they are. The world is so unfair.

Thought number two - Why are malls so damn hot? There's loads of people walking around, loitering or shopping and we are all sardined together and there's no A/C on. What is this accomplishing? Sweat stains that's what. I'm not a fan of this. After the gym I thought I would be good and wear my clothes that I plan on wearing to dinner tonight. But nope, sweat all up on my back and under my arm pits. So I had to change into crap clothes the moment I came home - so you know I can sweat in them. Then change again.

Thought number three - We arrive at a store and it's JAMMED with customers. There's one employee on the floor working the customers and there's a second employee on the engraving section (this is a store where you buy products and have them engraved with dates, quotes or some other sentimental things). The store isn't big to begin with - I see what I want, I grab it and the woman is unavailable. It's a Saturday - where are the other employees? People want to get their errands done earlier rather than later. Long story short its annoying that the employees are backed up so much that you can't get your engraved item until the next day. The event is tomorrow - now I look like a last minute shopper because the manager failed at the schedule. God I do not miss retail at all..

That's it for today. Well for thoughts that I wanted to share anyways. Will be posting my workout in the next blog. Woo day 6! Stay tuned.

Updates and Basil, Cilantro, Garlic Bread

I realize I haven't blogged in quite some time. Here's some updates since my last blog: - I moved - It wasn't my choice but it had to be done. The lady that owned our condo wanted us to buy it or leave. So we left (there were way too many things to be fixed and wasn't worth our time, energy and money). Now I live in the basement of my mother in law's home with my boyfriend, Jack. - I no longer consume animals or animal by products. I'm 90% vegan and I say 90 % because I cannot consume vegan cheese. Has anyone ever tried it? IT'S LEGIT THE SCUM OF THE EARTH. I eat cheddar cheese (only) once, twice or three times a month. So let's get down to business, to the reason why I made you come to this entry on my blog. The main way I cook in this basement is with my slow cooker. I came across a recipe on Pinterest for Vegan basil pesto bread which obviously sounds delicious. *Word to the non - vegans, pesto contains parmesan. There was a recipe to make vegan

I really hope I can hold onto this

Monday, July 31st, 2017 is my time to SHINE! I'm committing myself to a major change and I think I'm ready for it. Social calendar is cancelled which means less expenses and no drinking. Time to take a big breath and continue on... I'll be starting Focus T25 (I love my Shaun T workouts). 5:45 am every morning (hopefully) I'll be rolling out of bed - yes I'm gross - I'm going to sleep in my workout gear - grab my water and tie up my runners and popping that DVD in. I re-reviewed the Nutrition Guide and I absolutely love when shit is written out for me and I don't have to think twice about a recipe or what I'm going to eat. There are a number of options which is AWESOME so I can pick what I want, and sadly (for Jack) prep for breakfast, snacks, lunch and dinner. Ultimately I want to work out in the morning and do minor cardio after work. But who's to say this will all happen - I'm just baby steppin' so far. My #1 GOAL is to STICK with

Boxing!!

Do you ever get so ticked off you just want to punch something? Me too. All the damn time. Sometimes I'll even punch the wall.. no, not smart at all but it happens. A friend has been going to Boxing lessons for about a month now (I think) and I always wanted to join but I'm extremely terrified - I'm mostly afraid my form will be incorrect and it will be a one on one experience. Other than that, I'm absolutely pumped! I really hope I enjoy myself because I hear boxing is an INSANE WORKOUT. There's been a Groupon for this place since forever, I always saw it being recommended to me on my account and I figure - about time. I better get my ass in gear! If I learn the proper form and enjoy it, I'm 100 % sure I'm going to get a dummy or a punching bag and start punching when I'm angry. I already checked out prices - expensive - of course for the good quality and cheap for crappy bags that will break in no time. I hope it's all upper body though and n
